Chad Rasmussen is the Assistant Department Head of Electrical Power for DGR Engineering located in Rock Rapids, Iowa. DGR Engineering is involved in the planning, design, construction and commissioning of electric utility projects throughout the upper Midwest. Chad oversees the planning and design of electric utility facilities including generation plants, substations and distribution systems, as well as the development of long range capital improvement plans and the associated electric system modeling and analysis. Chad has led projects for a variety of clients, including municipal utilities and investor-owned utilities.
Chad is a native of Sisseton, South Dakota, and received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University in 1996. He has worked for DGR Engineering since graduating SDSU and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota since 2001.
