The Hilton M. Briggs Library is a 21st century learning and research center that inspires academic excellence, creative scholarship, student engagement, and lifelong curiosity.

 

Briggs Library is open to all patrons. Please see the Hours page for current visiting times. Individuals are required to follow the current University and SDBOR face covering protocols.

Electronic resources are accessible off-campus 24/7. When prompted, log-in with a university username and password. Librarians are available for research and reference assistance, as well as to help with log-in problems. Online chat with librarians is open on Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Sunday 1-9 p.m. 

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is fully operational. Items may be picked up at the Library Services Desk. Call or email if you have questions.

Faculty and students can use the library's Essential Services: Resources for Teaching Online for help with online teaching and learning.
