The Emergency Management Team (EMT) is responsible for overall coordination of the University’s emergency preparedness efforts. The members of the team are:

- Tim Heaton, Chief of University Police
- Douglas Wermedal, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs
- Mike Lockrem, Director of University Marketing and Communications
- Barry Mielke, Associate Vice President for Facilities and Services
- Jayme Trygstad, Emergency Management Specialist
