Linux Command Line
Research Computing infrastructure consists primarily of Linux command-line systems. Think of the command line as a text interface to your server or computer. Sometimes you will find the command line referred to as a terminal, shell, or another name. Whatever you refer to it, it is simply a program that can interpret commands. It can be a bit daunting when you first start; however, we are here to help.
