Waneta Hall

Waneta Hall

Connected to Wecota Annex on the west side of campus. It houses 320 residents, primarily sophomores, juniors and seniors. Each floor has a dayroom containing couches and cable television. There is also a full kitchen on the second and third floors.

Waneta Hall was built in 1959. Named after a Yanktonais Indian, who was born southwest of Frederick, S.D., in 1796 and gained fame for his bravery on behalf of the British in the War of 1812.
