Brown Hall

Brown Hall was built in 1959 and renovated in 2016. It is a co-ed residence hall and houses 400 residents. The hall has laundry on every floor as well as kitchens on floors two, three and four.

Building Description

Brown Hall houses the Global Village and the Military Affiliated Living-Learning Communities.

The hall was named after George L. Brown, ninth president (1940) and professor of mathematics and astronomy. Brown is regarded as the individual who had the greatest impact on and contributed most to the growth and development of SDSU. Brown Hall was built in 1959 and renovations happened in 2016.
