The Secondary Teacher Education program prepares students to teach in an academic major and/or other fields in which they are appropriately prepared. Students complete the requirements for a B.S. or B.A. degree in an academic major before or while meeting the requirements for South Dakota teacher certification.
While most programs of study lead to eligibility for certification for grades 5-12, some lead to K-12 certification. Click on the links below for more information about each program.
