Want a step ahead in a career that involves medication prescribing?

Pharmacology is the study of how chemical agents, both natural and synthetic (i.e. drugs), affect biological systems. Toxicology is the study of drug overdoses and other poisonings. The pharmacology and toxicology minor explores fundamental and advanced concepts in pharmacology and toxicology. In this minor you will learn basic pharmacology and toxicology concepts that will prepare you for further education and careers in medical and health science professions.

After completing FOCUS 2 Career, you may find it helpful to discuss your results with a career coach in the Office of Career Development.
