Are you interested in elections, public policy, Supreme Court decisions, foreign policy, globalization, or terrorism? If yes, political science is the right place for you!

As a political science minor, you can learn about American politics, how governments and leaders relate to each other in times of peace and conflict, the US Constitution and basic rights and liberties, as well as how people make political decisions.

Political science graduates pursue a variety of career paths, such as lawyers, journalists, data & financial analysts, state & local government, legislative staff, non-profits, issue advocacy, and public management.

Still deciding? Reflecting on your values, interests, personality traits, and skills will provide valuable insight as you explore major and career choices.
