“The law must be stable, but it must not stand still.” – Roscoe Pound, American Legal Scholar.
Law impacts all aspects of life, so it must keep pace with our ever-changing society and technological advancements. A career in law provides the opportunity to directly impact legal change in a variety of sectors and protect civil rights and liberties.
The Legal Studies minor ensures that students have the basic skills to succeed on the LSAT and in law school. Additionally, students are provided the opportunity to explore the areas of law that interest them the most. Since legal careers are available in a variety of fields, all majors are welcome. With only 18 credits, the minor can easily fit into nearly any student’s course schedule.
