A minor in Animal Science will supplement any major and provide students exposure to the technology of breeding, feeding, producing, managing, evaluating, and marketing beef cattle, sheep, hogs, horses, and poultry, as well as the processing of their products – meat, eggs, and wool.For more information

The Meat Science minor is designed for students seeking careers in the meat and food industry including research and product development, quality assurance, food safety, fresh meat processing, meat product manufacturing, and government service. Students learn product characteristics, product development, production, food safety, and marketing of fresh and processed meats.For more information
The Swine Science certificate academically trains you to enter the pork industry in such areas as sales and communications, construction, production management, and pharmaceuticals.
