Janae Jacobsen, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Janae Jacobsen, began her employment with South Dakota State University (SDSU) Student Health Clinic in 2012.
She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from SDSU and received her Masters of Science in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from SDSU in 2012.
Janae has worked in the healthcare field for over 14 years. She is board certified through the American Association of Nursing Practitioners and is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Brenda Andersen, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner; Associate Director
Brenda Andersen began her employment at South Dakota State University (SDSU) Student Health Clinic in 1998.
She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree from SDSU in 1979, and earned her Masters of Science Degree as a clinical nurse specialist in 1986 from SDSU. She then completed her post-masters studies as a family nurse practitioner in 1994.
She has worked a variety of roles in health care for over 30 years and is certified through the American Nurse’s Credential Center (ANCC). She is an active member of the American College Health Associate, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and South Dakota Nurse’s Association.
