About Reporting

If your concern is criminal in nature, please know that you have the option of pursuing criminal charges. If you have questions about this, please contact Detective Schultz at the University Police Department at 605-688-5117.

Brookings has a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) established to assist in cases of sexual violence. The team is known as the Eastern Plains Sexual Assault Response Team. The team works to ensure that victims receive immediate, accessible and comprehensive services by local, trained professionals. This is a free resource that anyone in need is encouraged to use.
