Then when you know better, do better.” This quote attributed to Maya Angelou has been a driving force throughout Dr. Bayer's life, and certainly applies to her commitment to create spaces that value diverse, inclusive perspectives and systems that generate equitable opportunities.As a life-long learner deeply invested in a strengths-mindset, Shelly enjoys the opportunity to assist students directly in their comprehensive development during their higher education experience. Prior to her current role, she worked in educational development and teaching.
Dr. Bayer also chairs the LeadState program and provides consulting as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
