Chen to present faculty recital

Yiqun Chen, a lecturer of saxophone, double reeds and jazz studies at South Dakota State University, will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.

This recital will feature works by composers Johann Sebastian Bach, Erwin Schulhoff, Carter Pann, Darius Milhaud and Barry Cockcroft.

Chen will be joined by fellow School of Performing Arts faculty Xuan Kuang on piano and Bradley Snyder on bass trombone.
