Jackrabbit Journey Scholarship is now available in fall 2020
South Dakota State University announced today the Jackrabbit Journey Scholarship will be awarded starting for the fall 2020 semester, rather than fall 2021 as previously announced. The Jackrabbit Journey Scholarship will provide financial assistance to students who have earned dual credits from SDSU and enroll at SDSU for the fall 2020 semester following high school graduation.
Three nursing classes post perfect NCLEX pass rates
South Dakota State University’s College of Nursing had three classes post a perfect 100% in the National Council Licensure Examination. The college’s Brookings site spring 2019 graduates went 66 for 66 and 44 of those students passed in the minimum 75 questions.

Hatch Memorial Lecture Sunday in San Diego at the annual meeting of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center provides ultimate theater experience
Theater students can put on a first-class/world-class production thanks to the recent addition to the Performing Arts Center. After the addition was completed, it was renamed to the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center. Students now perform in the new, state-of-the-art proscenium theater, which seats about 850 people.
South Dakota Governor’s 8th Biennial Art Exhibition opens at South Dakota Art Museum
The South Dakota Art Museum hosts the South Dakota Governor’s 8th Biennial Art Exhibition, featuring works from 64 South Dakota artists, Jan. 25 to April 20. The showing, the first of four statewide, represents all regions of the state and a wide variety of art forms.
