Prairie Repertory Theatre presents Nunsense, A Heavenly Musical Comedy with Book, Music, and Lyrics by Dan Goggin.
This hilarious musical comedy follows the zany antics of five nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken, putting on a show to raise funds to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julie (Child of God). Come meet Reverend Mother Regina, a former circus performer; Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of novices; a streetwise nun from Brooklyn named Sister Robert Anne; Sister Mary Leo, a novice and wannabe ballerina; and the delightfully wacky Sister Mary Amnesia, the nun who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. With catchy tunes, witty one-liners, and unforgettable characters, "Nunsense" is a must-see show that will leave you laughing all the way home.
