I completed my Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration from South Dakota State University in May 2016. In 2013, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University.

I serve as the Academic Clinical Site Manager for the College of Nursing. Collaborates with clinical partners to place our students in highly diverse clinical settings across the state, region, and beyond.

Impacting Models of Practice and Clinical Training for Registered Nurses and Students (IMPACT-RNS).
Goal: The purpose of this project is three-fold: 1) Educate BSN students and registered nurses (RNs) to practice to the full scope of the RN license and expand their scope of influence on the interprofessional community-based primary care team emphasizing their role in addressing the opioid epidemic; 2) Expand academic-practice partnerships with select healthcare organizations to provide longitudinal clinical training opportunities for senior-level BSN students in community-based primary care settings in rural and/or underserved areas; and 3) Collaborate with clinical practice partners to develop, implement, and sustain innovative strategies to fully utilize RNs in community-based primary care settings to increase access to quality care in rural and/or underserved areas.
