Biography

Dr. Allen Jones is a Professor of Civil Engineering with primary responsibility in the geotechnical area and is also active in academic quality and rigor. He serves as the program Assessment Coordinator and Accreditation Coordinator for Civil Engineering, as well as an ABET accreditation Program Evaluator. Dr. Jones' research is varied and has primarily supported the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Prior to joining SDSU, he was an active practicing engineer at Hart Crowser, Inc., in Seattle Washington.
