Buhr mills were used on farms to grind hard, small grains for animal feed. This buhr mill is an International Harvester Feed Grinder made between 1910 and 1920. It is powered by a single cylinder gasoline engine and flat belt drive. This mill was used at the South Dakota State University Experiment sub stations until 1969. It is currently on display at the museum.
