Crazy Horse was born in 1844 in Bear Butte, South Dakota. He was a fearless Lakota leader who was committed to protecting his people and their land. He is best known for leading the Sioux in their fight against the U.S. government while trying to protect their land at the Battle of Little Bighorn against Colonel George Custer.
