Giese to present senior recital

Wyatt Giese, a senior majoring in music education and theatre, will present his senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the South Dakota State University campus.

Giese, a tenor vocalist from Clear Lake, will perform works by composers Arthur Sullivan, Franz Schubert, Hugo Wolf, Giulio Caccini, Alessandro Scarlatti, Stephen Sondheim and Stephen Flaherty. He will be assisted by Melanie Timmerman on piano and soprano AnneMarie Smith.

Giese has been involved in SDSU’s Concert Choir, the SDSU Statesmen men’s chorus and The Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band. His primary instructor is Andrew Robinette.
