Academic Interests

I am a social psychologist, who specializes in group-based biases involved in person perception (e.g., intergroup face processing, stereotyping, dehumanization, pro-social intentions). At SDSU, I teach courses in Research Methods and Statistics in Psychology, Social Psychology, the Psychology of Stereotyping and Prejudice, Health Psychology, and the Psychology Major. In addition to my role as a faculty advisor for Psi Chi & Psychology Club, I enjoy mentoring students' empirical research projects and career or graduate study explorations.
