Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education Winners Announced
The 2022 winners of the prestigious Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education were announced today by the McGraw Family Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. Cheryl Logan, Barry Dunn and Roy Pea — three leaders in the field doing groundbreaking work in pre-K–12 classrooms, on university campuses and in learning science research, respectively — are being recognized for their extraordinary achievements. Each winner will receive an award of $50,000 and an iconic awards sculpture.
SDSU to lead $1.545 million BREATHE-SD project, partner with area hospitals
South Dakota State University is partnering with hospitals in Brookings, Huron and Madison to expand the public health and respiratory therapy workforce. Getting an early start: Undergrads relish chance to conduct research with faculty members
Working alongside a faculty member in a research setting may seem like a venue for graduate students, but plenty of undergraduate students have been willing to approach faculty. One such student is Lisa Wipf, a freshman nursing student from Minnetonka, Minnesota, who joined the lab of Wenfeng An, the Markl Faculty Scholar in Cancer Research in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
