Metro Center Meet Up
SDSU Metro Center Meet Ups offer a level of convenience and a personalized admissions discussion for prospective, undergraduate students and their families in and around the Sioux Falls area.
During your 30-minute SDSU Metro Meet Up session, you can ask questions about:
- Applying to SDSU and the admissions process
- Academic programs and opportunities at SDSU
- What it’s like to be a Jackrabbit
- Next steps in your college search
- Financial aid, scholarships and other resources
- Questions about your individual path to SDSU
- Anything else you’d like to know as you explore your college options
These conversations are designed to be personal, flexible and focused on you. Come with a list of questions or simply come ready to start a conversation.

Q: Do I need to bring anything to my Metro Center Meet Up?
- Yourself! SDSU Metro Center Meet Ups are designed to be brief, 1:1 conversations to help answer any questions you may have pertaining to your college search process and how SDSU may be part of that.
Q: What should I expect during a SDSU Metro Center Meet Up?
- You’ll be greeted at the main entrance of the SDSU Center Metro Building and will ultimately meet 1:1 with one of our Metro Center-based, SDSU Admissions team members. You’ll sit down with an Admissions expert, get to know one another and have an open platform to voice any questions or concerns you have about your college search process, admissions, scholarships, etc.
Q: Can I bring my parents or guardians to a SDSU Metro Center Meet Up?
- Of course! Being people-centered is one of our university’s core values and we welcome including those that are helping you navigate your college choices. All are welcome!
Q: How long are Metro Center Meet Ups?
- SDSU Metro Center Meet Ups are scheduled for 30-minute increments. Meet Ups by nature allows for quick connections and in-person conversation with an experienced SDSU Admissions representative.
Q: Who is eligible for a Metro Center Meet Up?
Metro Center Meet Ups are available for prospective undergraduate students, including current high school students and non-traditional students who would like to connect face to face with an Admissions representative. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or have a specific question about your next steps, a Meet Up is an opportunity to talk with a real person and get the guidance you need.

A SDSU Metro Center Meet Up is different from an on campus visit experience in Brookings.
