Michael Dianovsky’s lecture focuses on educating and preparing students for the changing pace of today’s world by teaching them how to learn rather than how to conform to the world around them and to conditions that may no longer exist in the future.
Each year leadership from Brookings and the university host Brookings Day at the Capitol in Pierre to connect with legislators and state agencies.
The day will begin with meetings planned by the Brookings Chamber that all participants are welcome to attend, beginning around 10 a.m. Past meetings have included the Secretary of Ag, Bureau of Human Resources, Economic Development and the Board of Regents.
