Graduate Student Appreciation Week

Graduate students make up about 10% of the student population across 57 graduate programs and 29 graduate certificates offered at South Dakota State University. Each graduate student is immersed in research and scholarship with the support of their advisor and the Graduate School staff.

Headley, Schaefer tabbed as SDSU Distinguished Engineers

An internationally recognized geotechnical engineer and the director of the Sanford Underground Research Facility have been selected as the 2024 Distinguished Engineers at South Dakota State University. Vernon Schaefer and Mike Headley will be honored at the April 23 Engineering Scholarship Banquet at Club 71 in Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.

Pharmaceutical sciences faculty receives Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring Award

College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions faculty member Joshua Reineke is the latest recipient of the South Dakota State University Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring Award. Reineke was named recipient of the award at the 2024 Celebration of Faculty Excellence in February.
