We offer an undergraduate minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Our program focuses on studying the diversity of experiences among women, theoretical perspectives, women’s history, culture, and roles. Students complete 18 credits for this interdisciplinary minor. The program offers Introduction to Women’s Studies and an Independent Study course. The other courses for the minor are cross-listed courses including Women in History, Sociology of Gender Roles, Gender and Communication, Woman and Politics, Women in Literature, Women in Media, and Socio-Psychological Aspects of Dress. Students work with the Coordinator to personalize their curriculum plans.
