Members working out in the Wellness Center

The Wellness Center is designed to meet the diverse needs of all. We offer an indoor pool, indoor track, 3 full size gym courts, cardio and weight training equipment, a 35 foot rock wall, and over 60 group fitness classes a week. Group fitness programs include, but are not limited to; P90X, Yoga, Kickboxing, Zumba, Insanity, Boot Camp, Water Aerobics, and Cycle. Individual programming, such as fitness evaluations, nutrition, and weight control are offered to students and community members.   

Group Fitness Classes

Our leaders understand that group fitness should be a fun, challenging, and competition free. If you are new to working out, a veteran exerciser, or just getting back into shape, group fitness is an excellent choice! 

Look at our fitness schedule. The schedule changes every semester and offers something for everyone. All classes are first-come, first-serve. Limitations are based on room size and/or equipment availability.

The first week of the semester is FREE for any Wellness Center member wishing to participate in group fitness.

Getting Started

Current SDSU students paying activity fees have access to the Wellness Center. 

To participate in Group Fitness classes, students must purchase a Group Fitness Pass for $125 for the year or $75 per semester. Group Fitness Passes may be purchased from the Welcome Desk in the Wellness Center.

Students must swipe their SDSU ID at the Welcome Desk before entering the Wellness Center and must show their ID card to the door attendant before entering any Group Fitness classes.

Community memberships include access to all Group Fitness classes.
