We can schedule your personalized visit any Monday through Friday (with the exception of holidays), and we're open every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you are interested in visiting on Easter Monday, April 2, please visit our Jackrabbit Preview page.
During a typical visit you’ll spend about three hours with us. This is what you’ll be doing:
Talk to an admissions counselor. We'll help you get on the right track for admission to SDSU. Topics covered include admissions requirements, cost of attendance, financial aid, residential life, student activities and any other questions you have.
Take a campus and residence hall tour. Our student admissions ambassadors will take you on a walking tour around campus, which includes stops in to classrooms, residence halls, wellness facilities and more.
Talk to a department representative from your field of study. Our dedicated and knowledgeable academic staff will be able to answer your questions about academics, job placement, career opportunities and other aspects of the major.
Sample SDSU ice cream. That's right; we make our own ice cream right here on campus—about 60 flavors. Each student (and their family members) will receive a free coupon to try it—a perfect ending to a great day on campus!
It's best to contact us one to two weeks in advance of your desired visit day, so we can make the necessary arrangements with departments. We also want to have plenty of time to send your confirmation letter, campus map and driving directions and a visitor's parking pass.
