We can schedule your personalized visit any Monday through Friday (with the exception of holidays), and we're open every day from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. During a typical visit you’ll spend about three hours with us. This is what you’ll be doing:
Hear from Admissions. Learn about admissions requirements, tuition, scholarships, financial aid, residential life, student activities and more.
Take a campus and residence hall tour. Our student admissions ambassadors will take you on a walking tour around campus, with stops in classrooms, residence halls, wellness facilities and more.
Talk to a department representative from your field of study. Our dedicated and knowledgeable academic staff will be able to answer your questions about majors, job placement, career opportunities and other aspects of the major.
Sample SDSU ice cream. That's right—we make over 60 flavors of our own ice cream right here on campus. Each student (and their family members) will receive a free coupon to try it—a perfect ending to a great day on campus!
Tuesdays and Thursdays offer more flexibility for additional appointment requests and visiting transfer students.
It's best to contact us one to two weeks in advance of your desired visit day so we can make the necessary arrangements.
