What are the benefits of shipping with UPS?

- UPS will pick up at your location, after you schedule a pickup
- Flat rates for shipping to the ADRDL regardless of the origin of the package:
- UPS Ground Label: $10
- UPS Next Day Air Shipping: $25
*All charges are for packages less than 17 pounds.
How to Ship Samples Using UPS:
- Visit our new custom UPS.
- Before your first shipment, contact the ADRDL at 605-688-5171 for your “Client ID” and “Billing ID” to use on the website.
- You will use these same numbers for subsequent shipments.
- Under “Shipment – UPS Service” choose either Ground or Next Day Air.

- Print the label and affix to your package.
- Ship the package by choosing one of the following options:
- Visit https://wwwapps.ups.com/pickup/schedule, or call 1-800-PICK-UPS to schedule a pickup (a separate pickup charge may be assessed from UPS)
- Drop off at a UPS location (no pickup charge from UPS), noting any size restrictions and time cut-offs.
- Ensure you note any size restrictions and cut-off times.
- Shipping charges will be added to your monthly ADRDL billing statement
Should I use UPS Ground or UPS Next Day Air?
- Use the map below to determine the best option for your location.
- Most, but not all, South Dakota locations will reach the lab by the next day using UPS Ground Service.
