Young musicians invited to summer music camps at SDSU
The South Dakota State University School of Performing Arts will conduct two music camps this summer to help school-aged string players and band members hone their musical skills. The All-State Music Camp for Young Band Members will take place June 12-16. The camp will be led by Camelot Intermediate School Director Mary Cogswell with the assistance of SDSU music staff.
Trumpeters to present junior recital
South Dakota State University’s School of Performing Arts invites the community to a recital featuring juniors Caroline Reyner and Ally Ercink performing a trumpet repertoire. The junior recital will take place at 7:30 p.m.
Spring Festival of Music to feature five concerts in three days
South Dakota State University’s School of Performing Arts will hold its annual Spring Festival of Music in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Larson Memorial Concert Hall on campus. The festival includes five concerts held over three days—April 21-23—and features performances by all the large ensembles and chamber ensembles within the school.
