The South Dakota State FFA Convention is an annual event that hosts over 2,500 students and guests. Students participate in 15 different Career Development Events, an Ag Career Carnival, service-learning activity, leadership workshops, and much more. Evening sessions honor award recipients and feature motivational speakers.
A discussion of how five diverse landscape architectural projects, each based on discovering the essence of the site, have been successful in connecting people to place and deepening our appreciation of the natural world. Canadian landscape architect and Master Gardener Catriona Hearn will discuss the process of finding what's "already there" on a site to inspire what could happen next.
The purpose of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity Day (URSCAD) is to encourage, promote, and recognize faculty and student involvement in undergraduate research at SDSU.
URSCAD is held each spring and includes a poster show, featured performances, and awards for outstanding student and faculty achievement. Student submissions from all disciplines are encouraged. Participation at URSCAD will be considered a university-excused absence for poster show exhibitors and other contributors.
