What does the Support Desk charge for services?

Our services are free to all SDSU students with their personal systems and SDSU faculty and staff with University issued systems.

What type of device should I purchase?

Most majors allow any computer to be used as long as the system meets the recommended specifications. We strongly encourage you to contact your college or department, though, for any additional specific requirements.

Can I receive financial aid to help purchase my laptop?

If your major requires laptop usage, you can bring its invoice to Financial Aid for a one-time budget increase. For assistance or clarification of these guidelines, please call the Financial Aid office at 605-688-4695.

Can I purchase devices or device hardware at the Support Desk?

We do not sell devices or hardware at the SDSU Support Desk.

Where do I go for technical support?

You can walk-in, call, or email the SDSU Support Desk and we will assist you to the best of our ability to resolve your technical issues.

Where can I reset my password?

The Login Help page will allow you to change your SDSU and BORIS passwords. If you have issues using this site you can contact the SDSU Support Desk and we can assist you further. Due to security reason we are unable to change passwords over email.
