The SDSU Student Promotion Fund is an event grant program housed within the SDSU Students’ Association.
A committee of students, faculty, staff, city and community representatives oversee the program and make funding allocations based on
- how well event applications meet fund criteria;
- how event applications align with the mission of the SDSU Student Association; and
- how well the event application achieves the intent of the overall fund, which is to recruit and sponsor events designed to provide entertainment value and enhance the collegiate experience of students, and encourage students to remain in the community on weekends during the academic year, within the parameters of 3-B (bed, breakfast, and booze) tax utilization.
