If you are thinking about running for a position within student government at SDSU... you should!
- Make an impact.
- Compose legislation.
- Speak with constituents (other students, just like you.)
- Serve on University Committees.
- Represent the voice of SDSU students.
- Networking Opportunities.
- Professional development.
- Political Activism.
In order to apply for the Students' Association Senate, you will need to fill out an application as well as collect signatures from students within your college on your petition. This petition allows your name to be placed on the ballot. Collecting signatures may seem daunting... ways to collect signatures may include asking your professors if you can announce your interest in running for SA in your classes or by reaching out to your clubs and organizations. Please note that in the general election all signatures collected must be from students within the academic college that your major falls (the college you are aiming to represent.)
The current Students' Association term will be April 2019 - April 2020.
Applications + Petitions available in spring semester or when positions become available. FOllow us on social media for more updates!
