The Mindfulness Room

The Mindfulness Room is a quiet space on campus for students to relax, reflect, and recharge and is located in Young Hall, Room 145.

The purpose of the Mindfulness Room is to provide a warm and calming environment where students can practice effective mental health techniques such as meditation, yoga, prayer, reading, journaling, coloring, etc. 

Any SDSU student with a valid Student ID can check out a key from the Young Hall front desk to access the room. The front desk is typically open from 11:00 AM to Midnight.

There are several amenities in the Mindfulness Room for students to utilize.

  • Reading lounge chair
  • Stackable chairs
  • Yoga mats
  • Coloring pages and colored pencils
  • Writing paper and pens
  • Printed meditation techniques
