The Mindfulness Room

The Mindfulness Room is a quiet space on campus for students to relax, reflect, and recharge and is located in Young Hall, Room 145.

The purpose of the Mindfulness Room is to provide a warm and calming environment where students can practice effective mental health techniques such as meditation, yoga, prayer, reading, journaling, coloring, etc. 

Any SDSU student with a valid Student ID can access the Mindfulness Room. See directions on how to access it below. 

What amenities does the Mindfulness Room Have?

There are several amenities in the Mindfulness Room for students to utilize.

  • Futon
  • Meditation cushions
  • Reading lounge chair
  • Stackable chairs
  • Yoga mats
  • Coloring pages and colored pencils
  • Writing paper and pens
  • Printed meditation techniques
  • Table

How do I access the Mindfulness Room?

Any SDSU student with a valid Student ID can access the room by entering through the Larson Complex main doors (near the C-Store) and requesting that it be unlocked by the Young Hall front desk staff during open hours (see below for open hours).

Sunday: CLOSED

Monday: 12 PM-8 PM

Tuesday: 12 PM-8 PM

Wednesday: 12 PM-8 PM

Thursday: 11 AM-6 PM

Friday: 2 PM-9 PM

Saturday: CLOSED
