National History Day® is a year-long academic program focused on historical research, interpretation and creative expression for sixth to 12th-grade students through project-based learning. SDSU Archives, S.D. Ag Museum support budding historians through grant

Sioux Falls middle school students in the National History Day (NHD) program will be able to strengthen their research projects and become familiar with a university library and archives, thanks to an SDSU Connect Challenge Grant awarded to the SDSU Archives and Special Collections and the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum.

South Dakota students excel at 2023 National History Day Contest

Fifty students from nine South Dakota school districts recently competed in the National History Day Contest, held in College Park, Maryland, June 10-15.
