Scope of the Collection
Our collection contains 3D objects like tractors and implements, household furnishings, architectural features, clothing and other textiles, small tools relating to animal husbandry and crop production, toys and books.
Two-dimensional archival collections include maps and atlases, prints from Harper’s Weekly and Leslies’ Illustrated, agricultural magazines and encyclopedias, the Beckman Archive, tractor and machinery manuals and the Photograph and Postcard Archive.
The museum’s collection also includes a collection of material related to the South Dakota State University.
