The South Dakota Paint Horse Club is a non-profit regional club affiliated with the American Paint Horse Association. South Dakota Paint Horse Club was formed in 1970 in Rapid City, South Dakota to show paint horses, an American horse breed classified by color patterns which resemble white splotches with a mix of commonly dark colors. Throughout the span of South Dakota Paint Horse Club, many shows, auctions, meetings, newsletters and tapes were produced. In 2021, the South Dakota Paint Horse Club was disbursed. Folders include mostly newsletters, newspaper articles, laws, memorandums, correspondence and directories.
