Abstract

Grace Wangberg was a South Dakota State student in the late 1940’s and graduated from SDSU in 1950 with a B.S. degree. She was a home economics teacher in the early 80’s. 

Biographical Note

Grace Wangberg was born in Woonsocket, South Dakota, on June 5th, 1927. She graduated from South Dakota State College in 1950 with a B.S. degree. She married John S. Wangberg of Egan in 1953. She was a teacher of home economics at Artesian high school in the early 80’s. She and her husband retired from their jobs in 1997.

Grace Wangberg had two sons Michael and Timothy and one daughter Silvana.

Scope and Contents note

In this collection there are many samples of different sewing styles from the 1940’s. There is also a small notebook that contains recipes that was written by Grace during the 1940’s.
