What motivated you to choose a career in nursing: I wanted a career that was in service to others, so what better one than nursing.
Why did you choose SDSU to pursue your nursing degree: I chose South Dakota State University because it felt like home away from home, but also allowed me to pave my own path in the world while meeting new people.
What clinical experience have you enjoyed the most and why: I have loved my OB clinical rotation the most so far, as I feel like it has allowed me to see a different side of nursing.
Is there a particular field of nursing that you are planning to pursue: I am planning to work in the critical care area of nursing after graduation.
What is your BIG dream? My dream job would be a nurse practitioner.
What advice would you share with a future nursing student: My advice for future nursing students is to take advantage of every opportunity to learn.
