The core professional training offered in the Department of Architecture is three and a half years (3+) of professional study leading to a Master of Architecture degree. There are two paths a student can follow to enter these advanced professional years of study.
4+2 students do both a four semester graduate (48 credit hour) and eight semester undergraduate (120 credit hour) degrees in architecture
3+ students (who have an undergraduate degree (in anything) and have met the prerequisites) earn a Master of Architecture by taking the last 93 credit hours of the 168 credit hour 4+2 degree set.
