Personal Transportation Device Storage and Safety
(New policy that applies to bicycles and personal electric vehicles, to include E-bicycles, E-scooters, hover boards, etc. According to the National Fire Protection Agency, the lithium-ion batteries that power E-bicycles and similar devices have been known to catch on fire and cause explosions. This policy helps ensure the safety of the campus community by establishing the standards for storage and use of these devices to reduce fire risk.)

Pyrotechnics, Fireworks and Flame Effects
(New policy that sets forth the requirements for the safe and responsible use of fireworks, pyrotechnics or flame effect displays on SDSU property to minimize fire risk and ensure viewer safety.)
