Founders Recital Hall

The space reflects South Dakota with 225 green seats for the prairie. The ceiling is made with Black Hills timber and the acoustic panels are colored rose quartz. A 2,848-pipe Reuter pipe organ was purchased for the facility and was brought from Colorado. The hall also has a balcony with seating and stained glass.

The name honors the words and intention of benefactor Horace Fishback III, who grew up in Brookings and went on to become a professional organist, composer and professor of music.
