National Student Exchange Program

The National Student Exchange (NSE) allows you to take new courses, see new places, make new friends and enroll in academic options that may not be available at SDSU. Study for a single term or an academic year at one of nearly 200 NSE member colleges and universities located throughout the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. NSE has arranged exchange opportunities for more than 120,000 students nationwide.

Eligibility

  • You must be a full-time, undergraduate student at South Dakota State University.
  • You need to have completed one academic year at SDSU (need to complete one semester before you can apply).
  • You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) with no incomplete grades.
  • You cannot have any financial obligations to SDSU.
  • You must not be in any current or pending probationary status due to academic dishonesty, misconduct or violation of codes of student conduct.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen.
