Accessibility Resources

SDSU Accessibility Resources

Accessibility parking stalls are provided in designated areas for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Anyone utilizing an accessible parking stall must display a state-issued disability placard/license plate and have at least a valid SDSU Economy Commuter permit associated with their vehicle, or a current visitor permit/hangtag.

A state issued accessibility placard is still required in situations regarding short-term or temporary mobility disability or injury. Individuals will not be granted special parking accommodations without a valid state issued accessibility placard. Each state is different on how to obtain a state-issued disability placard so please consult with your physician for more information. South Dakota Residents needing more information should visit the South Dakota Department of Revenue's Disability Parking Page.
