Students can choose from four convenient locations throughout the state to complete their nursing degree. We offer varying program options at each site. Our RN-BSN program is even offered 100% online.

Wagner Hall in Brookings

Brookings Main Campus

Our main campus is on the SDSU campus in Brookings. Students seeking their first bachelor's degree can complete the Standard Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in Brookings. Pre-nursing students at our Brookings campus can apply to the nursing major in the fall or spring semester, once all pre-requisite courses are completed or in progress. Mewaldt-Jensen in Aberdeen

Aberdeen Site

Classes are held in the MeWaldt-Jensen building on the campus of Northern State University. Students who have completed a bachelor's degree in any field and wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree can complete the Accelerated BSN program in Aberdeen. The program takes 12 months to complete and starts once a year (January). Health Sciences Center Rapid City

Rapid City Site

Classes meet in the Health Sciences Center in Rapid City. Students can complete the Standard Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in Rapid City. Pre-nursing students can apply to the nursing major in the fall or spring semester, once all pre-requisite courses are completed or in progress. University Center in Sioux Falls

Sioux Fall Site

Classes meet on the campus of Southeast Technical Institute in the Terrance Sullivan Health Science building, part of the University Center system. Students seeking their first bachelor's degree can complete the Standard Option Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the Sioux Falls campus, or students who have already completed a bachelor's degree in any field and wish to obtain a BSN can complete the Accelerated BSN program in Sioux Falls.
 

Students that choose the Standard Option can apply to the nursing major in the fall, once all pre-requisite courses are complete or in progress. The program begins each January and is completed in five consecutive semesters, which includes two summers. Read more about Sioux Falls Standard...

 

Students that choose the Accelerated Option in Sioux Falls can complete coursework in 12 months. The program starts once a year in August.
