The South Dakota State University College of Nursing is an institutional member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). This membership allows all faculty access to cutting edge professional development opportunities, which are available both online and through annual conferences. Membership in AACN provides leadership development opportunities for faculty and students. The organization leads advocacy efforts for nursing education and nursing research on Capitol Hill.
