Beverly Wright truly epitomizes the word "volunteer." Her contributions in support of the Cooperative Extension Service are substantial. She served in leadership roles in the Spink County 4-H Leaders Association; the State 4-H Leaders Board; the State 4-H Advisory Board; the Spink County Extension Board; the Cluster Extension Board; and the Spink County Community, Family and Extension Leader group.
She chaired the 1993 Planning Committee for the Regional 4-H Leader's Forum in South Dakota. Bev served as a member of the search committee for the State 4-H Program Leader and participated in the Extension Citizen's Review Committee in the 1980s. Bev and her husband Wayne have three children.
